At the age of four, Harry was placed in the care of his local authority. Several foster placements broke down as Harry presented with challenging behaviours. 2017/18 has been a fantastic year for the Caldecott Foundation receiving recognition from Ofsted for the outstanding outcomes that we are achieving for the young people placed in our care. Over the last year Ofsted have judged four of our seven children’s homes to be ‘Outstanding’. In Kingfishers we have been working on our SUPERHERO personalities. We have PONYGIRL, BATBOY, WOLFMAN and PUMABOY. We wrote recipes for our superheroes, came up with adjectives to describe them and superpowers using natural disasters which they had to research.
