Making Music at Caldecott
We are delighted to be working with Rhythmix, one of the UK’s leading music charities, who are running two afternoon music workshops a week with our young people. The tutors from Rhythmix help young people to express their creativity through music making, and they have some fantastic experience from working with young people in challenging circumstances.
The workshops include an element of lyric and song writing, cross genre and new music such as rock, pop and urban and performance skills to ensure that the young people have the chance to share their work with their peers and their support workers. After completing the programme throughout the year, the young people are expected to improve their confidence, personal and education skills as well as community engagement skills.
