Sainsbury’s in Hythe, Kent, has appointed The Caldecott Foundation as its local charity partner for 2013 and 2014.
The local charity scheme is now in its fifth year and aims to raise money and awareness of a range of charities throughout the UK.
In the last four years, Sainsbury’s colleagues and customers have supported thousands of local charities, raised more than £5 million and volunteered more than 7,000 days in support of charities and community groups.
On the new partnership with the Caldecott Foundation, Sainsbury’s Hythe PR Ambassador Maria Smith said:
“We are delighted at Sainsbury’s Hythe to be supporting the Caldecott Foundation as our local charity this year, and very much looking forward to the year ahead.”
