Caldecott kids raise money for Children in Need
20th November 2009

Our children and young people got involved in a day of activities at Caldecott School to raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal. They donated a little money to leave their school uniform in the cupboard and wear T-shirts which they designed themselves using Children in Need as a theme. Later in the day they teamed up with teaching staff and held a charity quiz.
At the end of a fun school day and, after enjoying some delicious homemade Pudsey cookies (pictured above), the children had donated over £100 from their own pocket money.
Sam Holland, Speech and Language Assistant, who co-ordinated the day said “The day was a complete success and the children really appreciated what a great cause they were raising money for.”
