Caldecott Highly Commended at Award Ceremony

The Caldecott Foundation has been highly commended at KOS Media’s £1 Million Business Challenge Awards held last night (Thursday, 29 October).
The awards, conceived earlier in the year by the publisher of the Kent on Sunday, aimed to reward organisations in Kent who showed the passion and vision to flourish during the economic downturn.
Having been shortlisted from over 200 applications, the judges described Caldecott as, “an outstanding charity that provides vital support, care and education for some of the most vulnerable children”.
Although we didn’t win the main prize, we were highly commended for our work. Damion Napier, Head of Care, who represented Caldecott at the event said, “It’s so nice to receive this award which is a recognition of the dedication and skill of our staff team”.
